Cedar Park's November Keeps Landing at Lakeline. Here's How the Month Lines Up.

November 5, 2026

From this Saturday through Dec. 19, six of Cedar Park's big shared dates happen at a Lakeline address. The Fall Roundup, NightMarket.fun and Light Up Lakeline happen at Lakeline Park. The two November markets and a December market day happen at Lakeline Plaza on Pecan Park Boulevard. Over the same stretch, the city's older civic spaces host the shorter, more traditional events: a veterans ceremony on New Hope Drive, a tree lighting at Heritage Oak Park, and Santa at the Recreation Center on Main Street.

That split shapes how you'll plan your weekends this season. Lakeline gets the crowds and the parking questions. The older parks get the early mornings and weeknights. This Saturday is one of each.

This Saturday Starts on New Hope Drive and Ends at the Lake

The City of Cedar Park calendar lists its Veterans Ceremony for Saturday, Nov. 7, from 8 to 10 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, 2525 W. New Hope Drive. I work with a lot of military families who moved here from the Fort Cavazos side of Central Texas, and this is the date on the November calendar I'd circle first.

The city's Fall Roundup begins two hours after the ceremony ends. It runs from noon to 4 p.m. at Lakeline Park, 1510 Alexis Drive. The city's posting promises armadillo races, a mechanical bull, live music, a petting zoo and western-themed crafts. Last year's Fall Roundup was in late October. Community Impact put the 2025 edition at Lakeline Park on Oct. 25. This year it moved into November, and it now opens a whole season at the same park.

Here's how the day fits together:

  1. 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.: Veterans Ceremony, Veterans Memorial Park, W. New Hope Drive
  2. 10 a.m. to noon: lunch, nap, or a slow walk
  3. Noon to 4 p.m.: Fall Roundup, Lakeline Park, Alexis Drive

Why Lakeline Park Can Hold All of This

The city keeps scheduling its biggest events here because the park was built for crowds. According to the City of Cedar Park's park page, Phase 1 includes a 2.5-mile walk-run-bike loop around the lake and a 3,000-square-foot multipurpose pavilion, which the city calls its largest. Phase 1 also has a universal playground, a fishing pier, a great lawn, four miles of extra-wide concrete trails and ten acres of athletic fields. When Phase 2 is finished, Lakeline will be Cedar Park's largest park at more than 200 acres.

On a weekend without an event, the park has a self-checkout kayak kiosk that's open seven days a week during park hours. Solo kayaks rent for $20 an hour and tandems for $30, with paddles and life jackets included. That's a good way to see the lake before the evening crowds arrive on Nov. 14.

Nov. 14 Is the Night You Plan Around Parking

NightMarket.fun Asian Pop Culture Festival comes back to Lakeline Park on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 4 to 10 p.m. The organizers call this year's theme the Year of the Horse and Asian Pop Culture. The event page calls it "Year three." It's presented by The Lunar Foundation and the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce.

Visit Cedar Park's seasonal guide describes it as more than 120 dishes from dozens of kitchens, 100-plus vendor markets, two stages of live performances and cinema by the lake. The announced performers include Ruby Ibarra with Mikey Vee, Austin Taiko, Austin Natya Ensemble and the ATX Filipino Cultural Dance Troupe. The food vendors include Chi'lantro, Garbo's Lobster, Mochinut, Red Dragon Bao and Thai Kitchen.

This is the one Lakeline date this season that has a gate. Visit Cedar Park's event listing shows general admission at $32.55 in advance and $37.55 at the gate, plus a $0.99 ticket for children 12 and under with an adult purchase. The organizer's FAQ says children under 12 get in with a ticketed adult. A ticket covers the 20-plus performances, games with prizes and kids' programming. Food and shopping are paid separately. VIP tickets bought the day of the event cost $70 plus a fee. Check the ticketing page for the final prices for kids and adults.

Expect a big crowd for one evening, and plan how you'll get in. The NightMarket.fun FAQ lists these options:

  • On-site parking. The FAQ lists it at $20, and Visit Cedar Park's listing shows $21.70 in advance and $25 on the day. Reserve a pass ahead of time on the ticketing page. Any spots left on the day go to drive-ups, first come, first served.
  • Free overflow parking at Reed Elementary. Shuttles run about every 15 minutes between Reed Elementary, Lakeline Station and Lakeline Park, from 3:45 to 10:30 p.m.
  • The CapMetro Red Line to Lakeline Station. Your ticket email includes a limited, first-come code for a free day pass, which you redeem in the UMO app. The same shuttle connects the station to the park.
  • Cedar Park LiNK. You pay the first $5 of an Uber ride anywhere within Cedar Park, including to and from Lakeline Station, and the city covers the next $10. The city has the details on its LiNK page.

If you live in Cedar Park, LiNK is probably the easiest choice. A $5 ride to the gate costs less than an on-site parking pass, and it drops you at the park instead of at a shuttle stop. If you take the free route, the last shuttle runs at 10:30 p.m., half an hour after the festival closes.

The Plaza Side of Lakeline Fills the Other Saturdays

The two remaining November Saturdays move to Lakeline Plaza, 11066 Pecan Park Blvd. Visit Cedar Park describes the plaza as near Best Buy and Ross. Its 2026 seasonal guide lists Cedar Park Market Days on Nov. 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Saturday, Nov. 28, the plaza hosts the Thanksgiving Holiday Market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. It has more than 60 local vendors selling apparel, jewelry, home goods, baked goods and spices, plus a shaded customer tent. The Saturday after Thanksgiving is a convenient time to shop local, since many of us have family in town and an open morning.

Your trip to the plaza can include a grocery run now, too. Patel Brothers opened at the same address, 11066 Pecan Park Blvd., Ste. 101, on Sept. 9. Community Impact reports that the chain started in Chicago more than 50 years ago, specializes in South Asian regional groceries and spices, and calls itself the largest Indian grocery chain in the country. If you come away from NightMarket.fun wanting to cook something you tried there, the spice aisle is a short drive from the park.

December Goes Back to the Older Parks, Then Returns to the Lake

After Thanksgiving, the calendar moves around town. The city starts the holidays at Heritage Oak Park and the Recreation Center, then comes back to Lakeline for its biggest December evening.

Date Event Where Hours
Wed., Dec. 2 Heritage Oak Tree Lighting Heritage Oak Park 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Sat., Dec. 5 Breakfast with Santa Recreation Center, 1435 Main Street Listed as all day
Fri., Dec. 11 Light Up Lakeline Lakeline Park 6:30 to 9 p.m.
Sat., Dec. 12 Tail of Lights Cedar Park Recreation Center 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Sat., Dec. 19 Cedar Park Market Days Lakeline Plaza 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

At the Heritage Oak lighting, the city puts more than 30,000 lights on Cedar Park's largest live oak and has holiday music and photos with Santa under the branches. On the city calendar, Light Up Lakeline is listed as "A Jolly, Bright, Lakeline Night." Visit Cedar Park's guide says it will have twinkling lights, Frosty Winter Fun, pictures with Santa, and a Holiday Market sip and stroll from the Always Fun Market. Tail of Lights is for dogs. Bring yours in a holiday outfit for photos with Santa Paws, a walk along the lit path and yappy hour treats.

The schedule follows the same pattern as November. The ceremony-style events stay at the older civic spaces and run on weeknights or early in the day. The big evening crowds go to Lakeline. If you only make one December night, Dec. 11 at the lake is the one the city has built the most around. Dec. 19 at the plaza is your last market day before Christmas.

If you live near Lakeline Park or Pecan Park Boulevard, six of the city's biggest seasonal dates are happening in your corner of town this year, and that's worth mentioning when your home goes on the market. If you're curious what your place on that side of Cedar Park would bring, Christie Minalga is happy to put together a free home valuation, ideally between a market morning and a night at the lake.
